Pest Control

Action Environmental Services Inc. - is involved in environmental testing which underscores our commitment to ambient air quality as it effects the home and workplace. Our commitment to excellence and innovation is to work not just on improved pest control methods for the present, but for the future as well. Established in 1936, we are one of the metropolitan area's oldest and most reliable pest control companies. Utilizing the most advanced scientific knowledge, with environmentally sound and safe techniques, we provide a pest free environment without the use of chemical pesticides. Since 1989, our company has been actively involved in the research, development and testing of an organic mineral-based pest control system. It has proven to be significantly more effective than common chemical pest control practices, while offering a unique and environmentally sound solution to an age-old problem. Additional benefits include: a cleaner environment for our homes, offices, and public buildings, as well as protection from harmful chemical effects to those persons who may be acutely and allergically sensitive, pregnant, or elderly.

Three Generations Of Experience. Commited To Complete Customer Satisfaction! Family Owned & Operated. Five Year Gaurantee On All Work! - We all love to sit and watch the wild life that is so abundant in this part of the state. But when that wild life decides to take up residence in our home, then they are not quite so cute. There is an abundance of wild life in the area. Everything from raccoons, squirrels, skunks and opossums to rats and mice can be seen in and around our yards. What happens from time to time is that as new homes and business are built the natural habitat of these creatures is encroached upon. They are forced to look for new nesting places. Sometimes this winds up being in your home. These critters are well adapted in finding ways to inter crawl spaces and attics. Once inside, their natural tendency is to burrow and gnaw. They will make nests by chewing wall material and insulation. They can chew through wire insulation and water pipes as well. The best strategy is prevention. Rodent exclusion is the key, but sometimes-total exclusion is not always possible. At Adcock’s Trapping Service we always remove any rodents before attempting exclusion and offer live catch and release techniques when at all possible. Through the use of Hav-a-Heart traps we are able to safely capture and relocate animals such as raccoons and squirrels.

Bob’s Termite & Pest Services - will evaluate your termite problem with a trained and certified inspector. A customized treatment plan will then be designed to meet your individual needs. However a treatment plan is only part of successful termite treatment. The customer’s cooperation and participation will also play a vital role in any successful termite treatment plan. Termite colonies are typically found in the ground. You rarely hear them or see them however termites account for billions of dollars in treatment and repairs every year – costs that are not covered by most homeowner insurance policies. Termites forage randomly through the ground in search of food (wood) and when they have found it they will begin feeding. Termites enter most structures through openings as small as 1/32 of an inch and any structure with a slab, a basement or a crawl space can be infested by termites.Bob’s Termite & Pest Services recommends a thorough termite inspection by one of our trained certified inspectors at least one time annually. Our inspectors are trained to look for signs of termite activity as well as areas where termite activity is likely to occur. The optimum time to have your home inspected is in the spring or summer when termites are most active in this area of the country.

By 1906 Otto had saved $5,000 and was ready to open his first shop in Richmond, Virginia. From these humble beginnings Otto founded Orkin Exterminating Company – and today, the company has more than 400 locations in North America with over 7,500 employees committed to providing the "World's Best" pest and termite control. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rollins, Inc., Orkin, Inc. provides essential pest control services to approximately 1.6 million residential and commercial customers.
