Accessability Equipment Manufacturers Association - AEMA is a non-profit, unincorporated association, formed in 1990 to meet the special needs of those involved with accessibility equipment...AEMA The term "Accessibility Equipment" includes the design, installation and maintenance of vertical, inclined and horizontal conveying systems which are used primarily to provide access and/or egress for physically challenged persons in public and residential environments. The products are commonly known as inclined platform (wheelchair) lifts, vertical platform lifts, limited-use/ limited application elevators, residential elevators, stairway chairlifts and similar products. Accessibility equipment offers a space and cost effective method to overcome architectural barriers facing the elderly and physically challenged.

National Association of Elevator Contractors
National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities - NAESA International is an international membership organization consisting of elevator inspectors, consultants, elevator contractors, and elevator manufacturers, with a membership of over 600. Our motto is "In the Public Interest" and includes Certification of Inspectors and Standardization of Elevator, Escalator, etc. Safety Codes. Each month we mail a newsletter, the Progress, to each of our members. If a member has anything that would be of interest to the organization, or would like to pose a question, get an opinion on something, we would include that in the Progress.

Material Handeling Industry of America - (MHIA) is the non-profit organization under which domestic and international activities are conducted. Active members are manufacturers of industrial material handling equipment and systems, or user-specified components for such equipment. They market their products in the United States. Associate membership is held by business publications, consultants and systems simulators.
Power Crane and Shovel Association, A subsidiary of Construction Industry Manufacturers Association - CIMA - is the U.S.-based international trade group serving the business needs of construction equipment manufacturers and construction-services providers.CIMA provides domestic and international business opportunities, marketing support, legislative and regulatory input, and product-specific and industrywide strategies and services to nearly 500 member companies.
